Wind Orchestra and Facmol Percussion
Founded in 2010, the Wind and Percussion Orchestra FACMOL is an instrumental group composed of 85 members including music students and instrumentalist teachers.
The age range of the members is diverse, including children aged 13 and adults aged 45. Among the sound elements that make up the group are wind instruments and percussion. The group started its activities from an unfolding of the cultural action of FACMOL - Fanfarra Celda Melo, created in 1992. Thus, elements of the typical sound of Fanfarras are characteristic in the Wind and Percussion Orchestra FACMOL, presenting a dynamic and innovative perspective in his repertoire that proposes a dialogue between the learned and the popular.
The FACMOL Wind and Percussion Orchestra has a highly successful track record, verified by more than 170 awards obtained in competitions and exhibitions across the country. Of these, more than 80 awards went to 1st place. The conductor of the Wind and Percussion Facmol Orchestra is under the responsibility of Maestro Wellington Reginaldo Rodrigues dos Santos, one of the group's creators and creators.
The group bets on the musical quality of its members and on the natural irreverence of the young people who make up the group.
